Without You

It's that time of the day again
When I'm alone with my pen and paper
I close my eyes like I always do
To boldly go beyond the borders of my mind.

I try and try to see the light
Beyond the darkness of my clamp shut sight
No matter how hard I try
It feels almost like an endless night

Emptiness, is all I feel
It's like a giant hole in my chest
I can never get out of this darkness
If I can't satisfy this thirst

Then I open my eyes and see
A clear and starry night sky
Among the flicker of scattered tiny lights
A crescent moon behind a wisp of clouds

So that's what it's all about
I just see an important thing
It's your smile and pretty eyes
Your love and kindness that kept me going

I miss you, my love, my best friend
I miss everything about you
I can never be a complete being
Without you

Well I already have the notes in my mind, enough to make a song out of this one, but right now I lack the most important thing : Musical instrument. Darn it!
